With the Exclusive Accessory Crafting we focus on the growing wedding and evening wear market. The idea is to take something very plain and with the right touches turn it into something amazing. We will teach the students to make what they call a fascinator—small hat or hair accessory. We will also teach them how to make a crown or headpiece for a wedding dress. Further skills will be how to cover an old pair of shoes with fabric so that it can look like new or even cover the shoes to match the hand bag. The other skill they will learn is how to embroider with beads on a wedding dress or an evening dress. The possibilities are endless if you know to make something from the ordinary to the extra ordinary.
All of our courses are industry accredited through SAACI. Non of our courses are SETA Accredited. If you need a SETA Accredited course, we can add one or more accredited unit standards to the practical skills course that will carry credits toward a full qualification.
These courses are only for groups of ten students or more. Please contact us for more information.
